He got born again in March 2001 and received the Holy Spirit 9 weeks later. In 2003 God spoke to him about the Apostolic calling and this was confirmed by many servants of God through prophecy.
In 2007 the Lord spoke to him about pioneering a church even though he responded to the call 7 years later in 2014.
The church was not started out of rebellion but was pioneered after receiving the blessing from his father Apostle Pride Sibiya. On Sunday 02 March 2014 Apostle blessed and anointed Apostles Chibanda with oil and the following Sunday Wind of Revival Church was born.
