1. Unless the mind is delivered a person can never live a liberated life. Deliverance is not just the casting out of a demon but the removal of demonic system in the mind of a person. The process is longer than what most people think.
2. It is only the truth that you know that has the power to set you free (John 8:32). When the word has been stored in your heart you will have victory over sin and demons. Jesus overcome the devil by using the word. |

4. Not everything that demons say is true because the devil is the father of all lies. Even if the information may be true you need to ask yourself the motive of the demon in telling you the truth. Some have stopped hearing God because they now receive prophecies from demons telling them they are powerful people.
5. When demons try to intimidate you as you are casting them out do not be afraid because you already have power over demons (Luke 10:19, 1John 4:4).
6. There’s a difference between the demon possessed and the demon itself. Remember your enemy is the demon and not the person. When ministering deliverance please ensure the safety of the one you’re praying for.
