Must Read For Those Who Want To Prosper: 8 Ways To Stir Up Your Gift

Basically a gift is something voluntarily given to you without compensation. Though the gift is an empowerment tool, it can be abused if it is in the hands of someone without knowledge. Without knowledge destruction is inevitable.

How then can you create the right environment to get the most out of your gift?

The word is very clear that our Lord Jesus Christ gave gifts to the church (Ephesians 4:11-12) and these are people whom God has sent into your life and one of them is your Pastor. There are doors that only your pastor can unlock and by connecting to him you unlock an atmosphere of prosperity into your life (2 Chronicles 20:20). Here is how you can stir up your God-given gift.

1. Understand The Pastor Is Human Too. Even though he is a man of God, he is not the God of the men. Although the pastor has his own flaws, He has been trusted by God to lead you.

2. Be Available. Loyalty speaks of constant and continual availability always. Remember WhatsApp, Facebook and the internet can never replace your presence.

3. Submit And Obey (Hebrews 13:17). Promotion always comes to those who humble themselves and pride goes before a fall. The distance between your current level and your next one is humility.

4. Pray. Praying for your pastor attracts angelic ministration and by praying for him you will reap the benefits of his grace and anointing.

5. Appreciate The Gift. Anointing functions best in areas where it is celebrated and not tolerated. Never leave a church service without saying thank you. Trust me, your pastor needs that.

6. Defend The Gift.
The best way to defend the gift is by avoiding familiarity. No matter how great the gift of God is, it is neutralized by familiarity. Genuine honour removes familiarity.

7. Honour the gift.
Give high regard to your pastor and never undermine his authority and anointing. Honour comes before the reward, aim for honour and the reward will be automatic.

8. Pay Tithes And Give Offerings. Giving tithes opens up the windows of heaven whereas giving offerings determines the size of the blessing. You need a combination of both.

I guarantee you, that by observing to do this you will experience a positive turn around in your life. Your pastor is a blessing and not a burden into your life. Brighter days lie ahead of you in Jesus name.
