Here Is Why Good Can Be The Enemy Of Right!!

I have discovered that most of our decisions are not between right and wrong or between good or bad but between good and right. Here is why good is the enemy of right!

1. The right thing is what you are supposed to do at that time even though it may seem hard to do whilst a good thing may be easier but not profitable.

2. The right thing is only done as a result of obedience and surrender. If I tell you to wash my car and you don’t but wash my clothes instead, you would have done a good thing but not the right thing. Obedience is always better than sacrifice.

Here Is Why Good Can Be The Enemy Of Right!!

3. Just because something is good does not mean it is right for you. Whilst it is good to pray aloud in tongues, it is not right to do so in the middle of a job interview. You will end up being a Holy Spirit filled jobless man.

4. Be careful of doing what is good in the eyes of man but not right in the eyes of the Almighty. Always follow the inward voice of peace to know and do God’s will.
5. Usually doing right is moving in your purpose whilst doing good is moving in someone else’s.

6. Doing the right thing takes humility and is a result of self-control. Before you do a good thing always ask yourself if it’s the right thing to do.
