4. We have to understand that in God’s sight, when a man and woman marry and join their bodies together sexually, something spiritual occurs - they really do become “one.”

5. Sex is for Procreation as well. We all know that children are born as a result of sex.

6. Sex is for both visual and physical pleasure. The body of the wife belongs to the husband and vice-versa (1 Corinthians 7:4)

7. Sex is for relief of physical and emotional stress, to comfort one another.

8. Sex is about both sacrifice & submission – husbands are called to sacrifice themselves by giving their bodies to their wives when they need it, and wives are command to submit their bodies to their husbands as they need it.

9. Sex is there to bring us out of our comfort zone, to be able to love our spouse not as we would desire to be loved, but as they would desire to be loved.

10. Sex is about Intimacy. Intimacy starts before intercourse and continues after intercourse.
