We can all agree that life is not a fairy tale that has everything going the way you would want it to go at any given time. At times it becomes difficult to move on because of the various situations that we encounter.
The only way out of any challenge is to be connected to a higher power than the one that opposes you. The question then is, ‘How can I connect to this power?’Prayer is the key that unlocks God’s power. God responds to prayer because the prayer of faith connects us to heavenly resources. Prayer connects us to God’s presence and power. When trouble comes and we have nowhere to run, we can rest assured knowing that when we call upon the Lord in the day of trouble he will answer us.
Jeremiah 33:3 Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.
When we pray we are giving God the license to intervene in our lives. In fact, when we pray we are proving our dependence on God in that prayer is about surrendering to God. Praise be to God who has given us his word which promises us that God will intervene in our lives when we pray.
The Word of God talks of the different types of prayer and one of them is the prayer of agreement. This is done when two or more people pray over the same thing in unity and the result being the manifestation of the answer from God. The scriptures tell us:
Matthew 18:19 Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.
