Any man can be a husband but it takes a real man to be a good husband. Here is a simple formula to become a good husband.
1.Submit To Christ. The best way to be a good husband is to learn from the best, that is from Jesus Christ. Sowing a seed of submission to Christ will yield a harvest of submission from your wife.
2. Be Sober Minded. A good husband does not exhibit extreme emotional imbalance like excessive anger to his wife. Gentleness is a virtue and a key to unlock your heart.

3. Have A Lot Of Patience. Being calm, cool and collected especially in the midst of an argument shows both maturity and love for your wife.
4. Be An Exemplary Leader. Lead your family in the ways of God and always set a good example by maintaining a lifestyle of self-control. Be faithful to your wife always.
5. Love Your Wife. Love is not love until you express it. Expressing love means making your feelings known to your wife. Do not keep your feelings locked inside because they are for her benefit.
6. Have A Good Sense Of Humour. Your wife should enjoy being around you and you should initiate fun oriented outings. Go on a date with your wife and compliment her as often as possible.
7. Work hard and play hard. You should be able to balance between work and family. Be a boss at work but a husband at home and never be confused between the two.
