1. Because you are part of the body of Christ and every part must be functional (Ephesians 4:16).2. Your gift enables you to serve others. When God made you He had others in mind. We are called to serve others. A candle does not lose its light by lighting other candles.
3. Your participation brings unity upon the church. Remember church a family unit.

5. It proves support to your local church. Passivity is a silent way of saying to your pastor, “We are not supporting you”.
6. It proves your love for God and others. What you love, you are willing to sacrifice and work for.
7. It brings peace, joy and a sense of fulfilment in your life.
