Your Pastor Is Your Umbrella

1. How you treat your umbrella before the rainy season determines what happens to you when it rains.

2. If you take good care of your umbrella it will take good care of you as well. You cannot receive from the anointing that you despise.

3. You will not see the importance of an umbrella until it rains. Money, houses and cars will never replace the role of your pastor.

4. Borrowing an umbrella can save you for a day but having your own umbrella will save you for a lifetime. Sheep do not do well without a shepherd. You need your own pastor.

5. When it rains if you do not open and hold your umbrella you will get wet. Being in church without connecting to your pastor will limit you. You need a healthy relationship with your pastor and hold on to his advice for you to be preserved.

6. The umbrella does well when it is held over your head. Before you talk of withstanding the rain make sure you are under the covering of your umbrella and by the same token, before you talk of resisting the devil make sure you are under the authority of God (James 4:7). Anointing flows from the head downwards. Always acknowledge your head (pastor) publicly.
